Sony MDR-7506 headphones

Top price: $96
Used, typical $60
- Why it's overlooked: They look like any black Sony headphones, and the ear pads are usually peeling, so they read as junk. Pads are cheap to replace.
- The numbers: 468 sold in ~90 days vs 303 listed. More sell than get listed, making it the fastest mover this week.
- How to spot it: "Professional" on a blue band on the outside of the cups, and "MDR-7506" inside. Coiled cord, folding hinges, gold plug with a screw-on adapter.
- Not this one: The MDR-V6 looks almost identical but says "Studio Monitor" (a different model). Lightweight plastic Sonys with straight cords (MDR-ZX, MDR-XB, MDR-V150) are low value.
- What to check: Both channels work. Wiggle the cord at the plug and at the left cup; crackling means a cord fault. Check the headband and hinges for cracks.
- Quick tip: Peeling pads aren't a dealbreaker. Re-pad them and put "new ear pads" in the title. Several top sales did.
LEGO Dimensions Supergirl (71340) with Toy-Tag Base

Top price: $99
Used, typical $76
- Why it's overlooked: She looks like any loose LEGO superhero minifig and usually ends up bagged in a mixed LEGO lot. She was a PlayStation 4 Starter Pack promo for a discontinued game, never sold on her own.
- The numbers: 75 sold in ~90 days vs 70 listed. More sell than get listed.
- How to spot it: A blonde Supergirl with a red fabric cape and an "S" torso, standing on a round, translucent-orange LEGO Dimensions base with a Superman-shield tile.
- Not this one: Regular LEGO DC Supergirl minifigs, which have no base, are worth a few dollars. Other Dimensions figures (Batman, Gandalf, Wyldstyle) share the same base but are common.
- What to check: The base must be there, since the bottom piece is the game tag and every top sale included it. The cape should be intact, with a "LEGO" mark on the neck stud and under the feet.
Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 Document Scanner

Top price: $203
Used, typical $98
- Why it's overlooked: It's a plain black box with no screen, filed next to dead printers and flatbeds that really are worthless. The model name is on a label underneath, not on the front. Most come from office cleanouts.
- The numbers: 532 sold in ~90 days vs 710 listed (about 75% sell-through).
- How to spot it: A black clamshell with "ScanSnap" on the lid. Opening the lid turns it into the paper chute and lights a single blue "Scan" button. Look for a Wi-Fi switch on the back and an "iX500" label underneath (US part number PA03656-B005).
- Not this one: The ScanSnap S1500/S1500M looks very similar but has no Wi-Fi and no current software, so it's a weak seller. The S1300i and S1100 are small portables. If you see an iX1500 or iX1600 (touchscreen), grab those too.
- What to check: The original Fujitsu power adapter (buyers ask, and units without it sell lower). Opening the lid should light the button. Check the rollers for glazing or cracks and the paper chute for breaks. Ricoh still supports the iX500 in its free ScanSnap Home software, so you can test-scan.
- Comps: with power supply/cables in the title, $99 (60 sales). Without, $88 (69). Parts/untested, $56 (5). Boxed "complete" sets went for about $145 (only 2 sales).
Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS Pedometer (Nintendo, 2000)

Top price: $153
Used, typical $107
- Why it's overlooked: It's a palm-size egg that gets tossed in the toy bin with Tamagotchi knockoffs, keychain pets and the yellow 1998 original. The color-screen GS is the one buyers want.
- The numbers: 34 sold in ~90 days vs 39 listed (about 87% sell-through). It's a small market, so price closer to the $107 typical unless yours is clean and fully tested.
- How to spot it: An egg shell in silver, clear, pink or translucent teal, "Pokémon Pikachu 2" under a small color screen, "MPG-002" on the back and an infrared window on top.
- Not this one: The 1998 yellow Pocket Pikachu (black-and-white screen, yellow shell), generic keychain pets and bootleg clones.
- What to check: Corrosion at the CR2032 battery door and contacts, missing or leaky pixels on the screen, all 3 buttons, and that the step counter registers a shake. English and Japanese units both exist; listings that say "English version" do well.
- Comps: The top 3 sales were $157, $152 and $151 (two from Aug 1, one from Oct 21). A fresh battery and "tested working" show up in those titles.
